18 Sep Baby Blessed
It’s hard to believe, but the beautiful yellow iris flowers in the picture above are in bloom in my courtyard now. This is Iris pumila ‘Baby Blessed’. It is a dwarf iris, growing about 18″ tall. Yes, it blooms in the spring, usually mid-late May. But the bonus of this particular variety is that it reliably reblooms every fall, basically until the snow flies. My clump is about five years old and really putting on a show. The first buds unfurled on September 11th and there are many more appearing every day.
I love it so much that I surrounded it with heart shaped rocks that I gathered on my vacation in Vermont. Yes, we do have about a dozen plants in stock. Get in here fast or call to reserve yours. It will amaze you as it has me.
