below to find out what's going on. Many events are free of charge
but some require a fee and registration. Please read the

9:30-10:30 am Prune Once, Bloom Twice, Workshop in the Garden
June is the time of year when some skilled maintenance can make the difference between a gorgeous
and easy to care for late summer/fall garden and an overgrown, boring mess. Find out
why Nancy says “if you are not removing tarp loads of vegetation from your garden in June, you
are certainly not being brave enough!”
12 noon Peace Pole Dedication
Over 250,000 Peace Poles have beeninstalled all over the world. Join us as we dedicate our new
Peace Pole and the garden that surrounds it to celebrate our 30th year in business.
1-2 pm Iris Love Garden Walk
Learn the difference between bearded,Siberian, Japanese, and other types of irises. They all
have different care requirements and can be used differently in your gardens. Then, join Nancy
as she takes you on tour of the irises in the Natureworks demonstration gardens.

Anniversary Party continues
11-12 pm Make your Yard a Certified Wildlife Habitat
Join Natureworker Diane St John as she explains the process to have your yard become a NWF Certified Wildlife Habitat. There are four things you must have on your property in order to be
certified and they are easy to do! Join the growing movement of homeowners who are choosing
to dedicate their yards back to wildlife and create beautiful spaces in the process.
1-2 pm Creative Succulent Plantings with Jeff Woodward
Jeff Woodward of Woodward Greenhouses in Chaplin, CT will be here to explain the wonderful
world of succulents. He will show us many types of succulents and explain their care and how to
propagate them. He will then demonstrate how to plant beautiful succulent creations. Watch as
Jeff creates a living wreath, a hypertufa trough and more--all to inspire your creativity.
We welcome you to stay and create your own masterpiece with us after Jeff's demonstration. All
participants will receive a 10% off discount on all related materials to make here or at home!
