Depending on the product, there are different methods of application.  Some products come in Ready to Use containers which means you just spray it on or sprinkle it on.  Concentrates are often available for larger applications which usually offer a cost savings in the long run.  Hose End sprayers are sometimes available on the bottles that calculate application rates when watering with a hose.  Pump sprayers are handy for those whose hands become sore or tire when using the trigger sprayers.
