MY SPECIALTY: Creating beautiful, ecologically sustainable gardens – right at home. I love creating gardens to attract wildlife-and watching children explore them and develop their own love of nature. I am proud to be the retail manager of such an inspirational, beautiful, organic garden center. Helping customers to be successful with their plants and teaching organic gardening methods is a very rewarding career. I am lucky.
FUN FACT: I love encouraging children to observe nature in action in the garden. Learning about birds, butterflies and bugs was a great way to get my children interested in the garden. Raising hundreds of Black Swallowtail and Monarch butterflies has earned me a new nickname: “The Crazy Butterfly Lady”.
NANCY ADDS…“Diane has transformed Natureworks in the time she has been here with her fresh ideas. She is an amazing retail store manager and I am so grateful for her hard work, attention to detail, and caring attitude towards employees and customers. Diane can take any merchandise and turn it into an eye-popping display. We call her “the bug lady” because she is so fascinated by the insects in our world! If you notice the photos in our emails a LOT nicer, it’s because Diane is taking them!”
